The Kent County Parks Department is seeking public feedback on its draft 2008-2012 Recreation and Natural Areas Master Plan. This plan is intended to guide County decision making on future park development, improvements and operations. The plan is available for review from April 30 - May 30, 2008 at the Parks office at 1700 Butterworth SW, at the Grand Rapids Public Library main branch at 111 Library St NE, and online by clicking this link.

In addition, a Public Review Open House is scheduled for Wednesday May 14 from 5-9 p.m. at the Eberhard Center at 301 W. Fulton St in Grand Rapids. Presentations will be made at 5 p.m. and repeated at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Comments should be submitted in writing by May 30, 2008 to Roger Sabine, Parks Director at Kent County Parks Department, 1700 Butterworth SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534 or via email.
